Breakaway Equestrian is a sport stable run by Canadian, Liz Bates. The focus is on the selection, production and training of elite show jumpers in Europe. The age range is vast, while quality is of the utmost importance. In addition to the jumpers, a select group of hunters and equitation horses are scouted and brought in for training after purchase, before heading to North America.

Breakaway in Europe, in parternship with Leo Rauscher of Leo Rauscher Horsemanship, offers to take in a select number of students for training. The focus is for students to improve their sport, and their horsemanship, as the two go are inextricably tied. The better we understand horses in and of themselves, the better we can do as their partner in our sport. When we work on ourselves, our horses get better.
